The second JCM study workshop was held at the FFS, NUoL on Friday, 11 March 2016 and hosted by the FFS, NUoL. This study workshop was organized for one day, which include 7 presentations; 5 from Laos and 2 from professors from the University of Tokyo.

The presentation by professors from the University of Tokyo focused on three themes include (1) Energy, Environment and Ecosystem nexus, (2) JCM projects for stainable low carbon development in Asia Pacific region, and (3) JCM project proposal development.

NFP Workshop on the Joint Crediting Mechanism towards Sustainable Low-Carbon Society Development in Laos PDR, which was organized by Mr. Oroth Sengtaheuanghoung, Laos PDR Academic Focal Person (AFP) on Feb. 13th, 2015 held at DALaM meeting room, Nonviengkham, Saythany District, and Vientiane Capital.

Participants attended from Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Energy and Mining, Ministry if Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, University of Laos, Businesspersons, Policymakers and National Agricultural Research Institute.
