Integrated Research System for Sustainability Science
Mr. Kei Kabaya obtained his master’s degree in conservation biology in the Durrell Institute for Conservation and Ecology (DICE), University of Kent in 2009. Having worked for Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) for six and half years, he joined IR3S in Oct. 2016. He is also a Ph.D. candidate in the Division of Natural Resource Economics, Graduate School of Agriculture, Kyoto University.
His major research focus is placed on the quantification and economic valuation of biodiversity and ecosystem services through application and development of GIS based process models and econometric / spatial econometric approaches.
